You can pickpocket a black hood off of Ri'bassa at Border Watch and then enchant it with a health bonus, reverse pickpocket the hood onto any NPC, then use the item dupe glitch by trying to reverse pickpocket 20+ arrows onto them before pickpocketing the hood back from them. One way to help save both Jauffre and Baurus or any other NPC's, is to reverse pickpocket weightless items with health bonuses onto them. You will need a staff or spell with an area of effect to hit Raven Camoran through the metal gate, which makes him attack you.īy doing things this way, Baurus will remain essential permanently so he can never die. Instead of choosing one, tell him "I'm not ready to go yet" and then go do everything yourself without him.
It is possible to keep Baurus alive, but you have to do something earlier in the questline.ĭuring the quest The Path of Dawn when Baurus guides you through the sewer, when you both get to the room with the final book Baurus will stop and talk to you about strategies.
